What is an NFT?

NFT stands for ‘Non-fungible token’. It is something unique that can’t be replaced with something else. For example, you can trade a cryptocurrency for another cryptocurrency, whereas a work of art is unique and therefore non-fungible.
An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects such as artwork, music, games, and collections of any kind.

What is a crypto wallet?

A crypto wallet is a secure place where your private key is stored. Think of it as your privately owned address on the internet. NFTs are stored on the decentralized blockchain, and your private key acts as your address from which to send and receive NFTs and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether.

How do I create a wallet?

Go to MetaMask.io and click the “Download” button. You’ll be redirected to the relevant store to download the MetaMask extension if you’re using a browser or the MetaMask app if you’re using your phone or tablet.
Open Google Chrome, Firefox or Brave on your computer and install the MetaMask browser extension.
Or download and install the MetaMask App for iPhone or Android.
Open the app and select “Create Wallet”.
Create a username and password. Important: Make sure you safely record your Secret Recovery Phrase and store it somewhere secret and safe, as this is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose your device, or ever need to install it on another computer.
